Brittany Anderson - Director
Education: BA in 5-12 Social Studies Teaching; Minor in Lutheran Confessionalism; Lutheran Classroom Teacher Certified; MN Teaching License in 5-12 Teaching Child Care Experience: I have worked at HNCCCC since August of 2003. I started as an Aide and worked my way up to Teacher, and became Director in January of 2009. I also worked as an Assistant Teacher at Hand in Hand Child Care in college. Personal History: I was born in Berlin, WI, but grew up in New Hope, MN, along with my older sister and younger brother. I graduated from Cooper High School in 2004 and received my BA from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2008. In 2013, I married my husband, Mike. We currently own a home in Oakdale, and live with our two kittens, Phoebe and Crush. Hobbies: I love playing volleyball and working out (maybe don’t love that one so much…). I enjoy reading and snuggling with my husband and kittens watching movies. Evenings and dinners out with my friends and weekends at the cabin are a must! Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: I love working at Holy Nativity because I am in the capacity to better the lives of our children and families by bringing them to Christ!
Paula Majkozak - Infant Teacher
Education: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Child Care Experience: I have worked in child care since 1992, and the majority of that time has been spent with Infants. I started at HNCCCC in 2001 as an Infant Teacher. I worked as the Assistant Director for about three years, but I missed the children too much so I went back to being the Infant Teacher. Personal History: I grew up in North Minneapolis and graduated from Henry High School. I come from a large family – six brothers and two sisters, 19 nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews. I live in Maple Grove. Hobbies: My hobbies include reading, Sodoku, and crossword puzzles, watching Gopher hockey, and spending time with family and friends. Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: I like working at HNCCCC because I like helping nurture new individuals and watching their unique personalities develop.
Rachel Crane - Infant Teacher
Education: AAS degree in Child Development from Hennepin Tech (Dec. 2013) Child Care Experience: Worked as a nanny for a family with two children in St. Cloud for two years. I then worked in St. Michael with school-age children for one year. I have been at HNCCCC since September 2013. Personal History: I grew up in Hanover, MN, in a family with two older sisters and two younger brothers. I will be getting married in fall of 2014. Hobbies: Reading, riding my bike, jogging, and being with friends and family. Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: The kids are wonderful and my co-workers are great to work with!
Jennifer Franz - Assistant Infant Teacher
Education: Associate of Arts in General Bible/Bible Studies Child Care Experience: 11 years at HNCCCC Personal History: I’ve lived in Minnesota most of my life (give or take eight years). I graduated from high school in 2002 and Association Free Lutheran Bible School in 2004. I currently live in Maple Grove. Hobbies: Hanging out with friends and family, walking, shopping, reading, and drinking coffee. Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: I love that we can talk about Jesus and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas! I also believe our team in the baby room is great and I enjoy working with them. I love that our boss loves the kids and always strives to better the center. And, of course, I love the hugs and smiles from the babies! Watching them learn and grow is exciting and it’s a pleasure to care for them.
Amy Laite - Toddler Teacher
Education: I have completed coursework and earned numerous certifications in Early Childhood Education from El Camino College, UCLA Extension, and Rasmussen College. Child Care Experience: I have worked with children for over 17 years. I have been a Toddler Teacher at Holy Nativity since 2006. Personal History: I was born and grew up in Torrance, CA. I currently live in Crystal, MN with my husband, my two biological children, and my two step-children. Hobbies: Camping, going to movies and dinner, word puzzles, and taking trips back home to CA. Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: I love knowing that I made a difference in a child’s life, when children that have left the Center come back to say hi to me in the toddler room. I love that we are a family-oriented Center.
Marhea Harris - Toddler Teacher
Education: My Bachelor's degree is in Early Childhood Education. Child Care Experience: I have worked in childcare for about 5 years (2 years in pre-k and 2 years in kindergarten). I have worked with children since 1997. Personal History: I just got married in September to Jimmy Harris. I have 3 sisters - two here on earth and one in heaven. I grew up in Minnesota. Hobbies: Reading (not much time now!), singing, writing songs, being outside, riding bikes. Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: I like the Christian atmosphere, the Jesus time and that staff care for the children.
Rachel Orr - Lead Preschool Teacher
Education: Elementary Ed. K - 8 Comm Arts Lit from Concordia University St. Paul. Child Care Experience: Kindergarten Teacher 2006 - 2014, Preschool Teacher July 2014 - Present. Personal History: I grew up in Inver Grove Heights and currently live in St. Paul. I'm married and have 2 children. Hobbies: Reading, watching movies, going for walks, scrapbooking and being with my family. Why You Like Working at HNCCCC: I love to work with children and share the love and joy of Jesus.
Sarah Bosquez - Preschool Teacher
Education: Two years of general education college studies; CNA Child Care Experience: 16 years of experience, including: 1997 to 2005 – home daycare; 2005 – Kindergarten teacher in Okabena; 2008 to 2010 – His Kids Child Care in Red Wing; and 2011 to present at HNCCCC. Personal History: I was born in Golden Valley, MN to a family of four kids. I went to St. Raphael’s grade school from Kindergarten to 8th grade. I graduated from Robbinsdale Armstrong High School. I married my favorite man, Jake, in 2011. I am the mother to two teenage girls. Hobbies: Singer/songwriter, play in church worship band and small bluegrass band, lead Youth Group, and enjoy working out, and outdoor walking, camping, and gardening.
